Develop the skills and confidence to help you practise unsupervised and build your patient loyalty. Extend your skills to provide a clinically efficient eye examination whilst developing an excellent rapport with your patients.
Having proven your clinical skills and successfully navigated the College of Optometrist’s Scheme for Registration you might feel perturbed about dealing with patients without the support of your supervisor or mentor. To help you bridge the gap between recently qualifying and practising with confidence that years of experience brings THE VISION CARE INSTITUTE® has developed a programme to accelerate your development.
This innovative two-day course will
• develop your communication skills
• enable peer-to-peer groups learning facilitated by an experienced tutor
• enhance your clinical skills enabling greater clinical efficiency
• give you the knowledge and skills to recommend the most suitable contact lenses to your patients
• learn to use an OCT and interpret images
This hands-on course takes place at the state-of-art facilities of THE VISION CARE INSTITUTE® using inter-room HD video technology, interactive electronic voting, HD video slit lamps and many innovative teaching materials.
This course is accredited with 8.5 CET points and is FREE to attend.
